“We rented a room in this hotel just a few days before our trip. It was the only reasonable priced hotel in the area. The hotel is clearly undergoing some renovations and the building we stayed in, Gingerbread, recently had its exterior painted. The inside was very clean and spacious but decor was outdated. Everything worked well in the room but the beds could definitely need an upgrade as they have been well worn over the years. The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the main streets and town of Greenport. The staff working at the hotel were so kind and friendly. They offered free parking with your stay on site which was great and their pool looked lovely. Overall, we got what we paid for and would go back with the hopes that they upgrade the beds in the near future.”
